A Fresh Start with Deep Roots
Late last year, Merriments, a beloved name locally, sadly closed their doors. But their legacy lives on! Not only have we given their stock plants and nursery equipment a second home, but we’ve also been fortunate enough to welcome some of Merriments’ expert staff into our team. With their extensive knowledge of growing plants suited to soil and weather conditions in East Sussex, we’re confident that our new nursery will thrive.
What Does This Mean for You?
By focusing on locally cultivated plants, we can offer you healthier, hardier plants that are perfectly adapted to the Weald’s soil and climate. We will be growing all our plants in peat-free media and avoiding the use of chemicals and pesticides by using biological controls instead.
