Eras of Style on the A21

Eras Of Style have been trading in the Antiques markets of Sussex for the past 35 years. After a number of years in the old West Bexhill train station, Eras of Style are joining us on the A21 with a fantastic new concession – located in the Emporium.

Back in the 80’s, Andy and Christine started trading at the grass roots of the business, selling at international antique fairs such as Newark, Ardingly, Lincoln and Kempton.

‘It was really hard work in those days’ said Andy ‘We had to stall out in all weathers and we seemed to sleep in a van more than we did in a bed, but we really enjoyed it.”

“As time progressed and we established a client base, we rented spaces in Antique centres until we could afford our first shop in St Leonards 22 years ago. The antiques trade has changed considerably over the years, these days people are often drawn to certain styles because they have appeared on a TV show or featured in magazine. We prefer to follow our noses and buy pieces we like, and our customers seem to like them too! We are looking forward to sourcing new stock for our concession as part of Planters Garden Centre and starting a new chapter for Eras of Style Antiques”.

Their extensive stock is available to view on line at and they offer a nationwide delivery service.
